How it works
Bed bugs and their eggs die when held above about 50°C for long enough. We heat rooms to 50–60°C and hold that heat until the hardest-to-reach spots stay above 50°C. Our technicians place temperature probes where bed bugs hide, such as mattress seams, bed frames, skirting boards and sofa joints, and watch the readings live so no room is left short.
A typical Wolverhampton job might be a Victorian terrace in Whitmore Reans that has been split into rented rooms, with bedrooms on two floors and a box room at the back. We plan the heat room by room so every floor reaches the same temperature, and we give tenants and landlords clear preparation advice before the day.
Most treatments are completed within a day, and you can usually move back in after about 2 hours, unless your technician advises otherwise. Qualifying treatments are covered by our 12-week guarantee. See how our heat treatment works

Local insight
Much of Wolverhampton’s housing is older stock: rows of Victorian and Edwardian terraces in areas such as Whitmore Reans and around the city centre, larger period houses in Tettenhall, and post-war estates and semis in places like Wednesfield, Bilston and Penn. In terraces and converted houses, rooms share walls, floors and loft spaces, so bed bugs can move between homes if a problem is left untreated.
The University of Wolverhampton brings a large student population to the city centre, and many students and young workers live in shared houses and rented flats where tenants change regularly. Second-hand beds and sofas often move between these lets, and that is one of the easiest ways for bed bugs to travel from one home to the next.
Wolverhampton is also a busy transport hub, with a mainline railway station, a bus station in the centre and good motorway links, and matchdays at Molineux bring visitors to city centre hotels and guest houses. If you notice bites, blood spots on bedding or small dark marks along mattress seams, act early: a small problem is quicker and less disruptive to treat than an established one.

Pricing
Whole-property bed bug heat treatment in Wolverhampton starts from £895. The final price depends on the size and layout of the property, how far the infestation has spread and how much preparation is needed. A shared house near the university with five or six let rooms, or a flat above a shop on a busy high street in Bilston, takes more planning than a two-bedroom semi in Penn, and parking and access in the city centre can affect how we set up on the day.
We confirm the price after a survey or a detailed conversation about the property, so landlords and tenants know what is included before we travel out. Qualifying treatments carry our 12-week guarantee. See our bed bug treatment prices for what is included and the full guarantee terms.
Reviews
I’ve tried to get rid of the bed bugs (after unfortunately bringing them back from Thailand) myself, and I tried two other companies who cane out and sprayed and this was unsuccessful. I contacted these and someone came out the next day to survey my home and the treatment was booked in for a few days time. Safe to say I no longer have bed bugs and they even give you a guarantee. Thanks James and team.

I would highly recommend their services to anyone dealing with a bedbug issue.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this service. This company has been able to deal with the bed bug issue very effectively.
James who initially came out was very professional and the teams work has been a relief after trying another company (with a big name) which had failed to get us rid of the bugs and have charged us an arm and a leg without any guarantee.
Great customer service, a guarantee and are very flexible. I highly recommend their service to anyone who is dealing with that type of issue. Thank you so much for all your help.

We ended up needing bed bug heat treatment in London after bringing some home from a hotel stay. Luckily we spotted it pretty quick, so it wasn’t a full on infestation. The guys came round, checked it out and said it only needed a spray which sorted it fast.
They were friendly, explained what they were doing and didn’t make a big drama out of it. Glad we called them when we did, saved us from a much bigger problem. Thanks

Council pest control services and charges change over time, so check the City of Wolverhampton Council website for what it currently offers. Many residents, landlords and businesses choose a specialist instead, because heat treatment targets adults, nymphs and eggs at the same time. Our guide to council vs private bed bug treatment explains the differences.
It depends on the tenancy and on when the bed bugs arrived. Landlords are usually expected to deal with an infestation that was there before the tenant moved in or that affects a shared building, while a tenant may be asked to pay if they brought bed bugs in later. We work with landlords, letting agents and tenants, and provide written treatment details for both sides.
Yes. We treat shared student houses, HMOs and rented flats around the city centre and Whitmore Reans. In a shared house we look at every bedroom and the shared rooms, because bed bugs often move between rooms on bags, clothes and furniture. We give students and landlords clear preparation advice before the day.
Yes. We treat hotel rooms, guest houses and short-term lets, and we plan the work to keep disruption to guests as low as possible. Our vans are unmarked, so the treatment stays discreet. We travel out from London, so get in touch to talk through the rooms affected and the best time for the work.
Most treatments are completed within a day. The exact time depends on the size of the property and how many rooms need heating. You can usually move back in after about 2 hours, unless your technician advises otherwise. See how long professional bed bug treatment takes for more detail.
Qualifying treatments carry our 12-week guarantee. If live bed bug activity is found within that period, we come back to treat again under the terms of the guarantee. Some homes need a return visit, and we will explain what to expect and how to look after your home afterwards. See our pricing and guarantee page for the full terms.
